My name is Shane Robinson. I am the Superintendent here in Minto. I am originally from Hamilton, North Dakota and graduated from Cavalier High School in 1990. I attended Mayville State University for my education degree. I started my career teaching in Drake, ND where I taught for 4 years. I met my wife Nicky and we married in 1999, and moved to Minto. I started out as a classroom reduction teacher here in Minto, moved on to 6th grade teacher, then JH Language Arts & PE. In 2014 I became HS Principal and became Superintendent in 2022.
We have 5 children. Lili our oldest resides in Dell Rapids, SD with her husband Jon and son Joey. Seth attended NDSU and currently engaged to Nicole Schmidt and lives in Grand Forks with their daughter Lennyx. Our son Riley attends Mayville State University for Accounting. The remaining children we have at home are Ezra and Elijah who are 11th graders at Minto Public School.
Living in Minto has been a blessing. There isn't another community as supportive as this one.
